MSR Annual Waivers

Hello from MSR!

You may have received an email January 27, 2026 from MotorsportReg regarding “Introducing Annual Waivers…” We met with MSR earlier this week and have some clarifications to share:

  • All processes to sign an SCCA Annual Waiver remain the same as previous years.
  • SCCA Regions are not eligible to utilize the new Annual Speedwaiver functionality introduced in the email
  • SCCA Regions with current MSR accounts will have automatic access to the enhancement to verify the SCCA Annual Waiver (Adult and Minor) during the online registration process and display the Annual Waiver as a credential on the individual’s MSR profile.
    • Annual Waiver (Adult and Minor) information will be visible to the registrar(s) in both reporting and in the check-in tool. This means no tedious waiver verification and those with an Annual Waiver will not be eligible to sign the SpeedWaiver for the event, eliminating confusion and an unnecessary duplication.
    • Below are two screenshots from MSR demonstrating how the Annual Waiver is displayed in the Online Registration and the second in the Check-In tool:

2026 Waivers

  • Event and Annual: Updated with non-gendered language and checkbox added to indicate sole custody for the Annual Minor Waiver forms
  • Digital Annual Waivers continue to be available in the Member Account Portal, the primary source for Annual Waivers
  • Annual Waiver forms can be requested via membership@scca.com
    • It is imperative that paper forms be properly completed and witnessed. These are legal documents that protect the club in case of a legal situation; accuracy matters.

2026 Membership Increases

  • Membership Forms can be downloaded from the Member Account Portal using the same link as above
  • Annual Individual Membership: $80 → $85
  • Annual Family Membership: $105 → $120
  • Discount Adjustments:
    • First Gear: $30 → $35 (Discount off Annual Individual dues)
    • Military: remains as 20% discount off Annual Membership
  • Weekend Memberships:
    • Purchased by individual through MAP: $20 → $25
    • Invoiced to Regions by National: $15 → $20
